Judges Kim Hoover and Lisa Coates and Clerk of Courts Kevin Coughlin today announced the launch of a new and improved website for the Stow Municipal Court.

The redesign, conducted by the Clerk’s office, allows visitors to find often-sought information about the Court and better access court records. The website allows for online payment of fines and costs and presents fee schedules in an easier to follow format.

New features brief jurors on what to expect when they serve, make frequently used forms available for download in one place, and answer frequently asked questions.

“This is just a first step in our efforts to modernize the Court and better serve our citizens,” Coughlin said. “With the launch of this new site, the public is getting greater access to our Court.”

The site is designed to reformat itself depending on the type of device it is being viewed on. On tablets and smartphones, the site appears as an app.

Designed for the future, the new website will be able to accommodate e-filing once a new case management system is selected for the Court. These moves will allow the Court to become largely paperless.

Comments and suggestions on the new website are welcomed at the Clerk’s office.
